A Rare WW2 British Airborne HSAT Fibre Rimmed Helmet, with Scrim Cover

A Rare British WW2 HSAT Airborne Helmet, the outer shell is in great original condition with a scrim cover, the inner lining is complete The helmet is fitted with its characteristic leather liner, with a thick sorbo rubber ring on the inside edge of the helmet. The interior crown is fitted with four tan web straps and a tie string for fit adjustment. However this has had a webbing style chin strap replacement, possibly the later Australian refit. The sweat band is Maker marked BMB 1942, size 6 7/8. All in all a very nice HSAT helmet in VG++++ Condition
