A Very Rare British No.9 Prototype Bayonet 1944 dated

A very rare British No.9 Bayonet 03/44 for march 1944, this bayonet is in excellent condition throughout, the Prodcution of these were started in 1949 and continued until 1962. Having this Bayonet with the early 1944 dated denotes that it was an early protoype, the previous owner had the bayonet viewed by Ian Skennerton and Graham Priest and both of believed it to be a Protoype, the Bayonet and release catch are both Stamped with the broad arrow, the blade is is excellent condition with no damage, the pommel and scabbard are also in excellent condition with no damage to the parkerised areas, A great chance to own a very rare bayonet in Excellent condition.
