A WW1 Turkish Gallipoli Star, The award is a very nice example complete with an original length of ribbon, the Star itself has all of it's enamel intact with some plating loss to the points, the reverse is Maker Marked B.B. & Co and has the pin intact. VG+++ Condition
 
The Gallipolli Star is a military decoration awarded by the Ottoman Empire. It was known as the Ottoman War Medal or in Turkish: Harp Madalyası,  or the Iron Crescent. It was instituted by Sultan Mehmed V on 1 March 1915 for gallantry in battle.
