WW2 British 1st Pattern Fairbairn Sykes (F.S) Commando Knife by Wilkinson Sword Co Ltd. Retaining all of its original plating, no brass bleed through. Crisp knurling and a well defined crossguard. Blade length just shy of 7 inches. The Double edged blade etched with Wilkinson Sword Co Ltd London makers mark and the reverse ‘THE F-S FIGHTING KNIFE’. Blade shows some wear with evidence of sharpening with Original needle point. Housed in its original leather scabbard with nickel plated lower chape, Leather leg tabs and belt loop with the securing strap with press button snap. A Classic WW2 Commando Knife in VG+++ Condition.
