An Attributed Victorian Royal Garrison Artillery Sabretache and Belt Pouch belonging too Lt Colonel Kenneth Douglas Field DSO, he was commissioned 2nd Lt on the 22nd November 1899, we then know that he was a Major in the 22nd Derajat Mountain Battery and took part in the Tibet expedition. In 1912 He was Based in Edinburgh at Leith barracks as a gunnery instructor, Promoted to Lt Col he was unforntunately Killed in action on the 30 November 1917 and is remembered on Panel 1 at the Canbai Memorial. This has come direct form the recipients Grandson and is fresh to the market, attributed items like this are hard to find and could be reseached further. The family gifted the recipients medals to the Royal Artillery Museum at Woolwich some years ago. He was entitled to the DSO, 1895 India General Service medal, Clasp Waziristan 1901-2, Tibet medal, 1915 Star, War Medal and Victory medal with mention in dispatches oakleaf.
