An Early SA Dagger by Carl Julius Krebs, Solingen, The blade is in excellent condition! The acid etched "Alles für Deutschland" motto and Krebs maker mark are crisp and beautifully executed. The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point. the blade only shows minor spotting and the common surface scratches throughout. The solid nickel silver scabbard fittings are in very good condition matching the crossguards in color and patina, all four scabbard screws remain tightly intact. The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked "He" for (Hessen). The Scabbard retains in original anodized colour but the surface laquer has crazed which is commen with these finishes and goes to prove authenticity. The brown hardwood grip looks excellent! It shows several pressure marks throughout but that's it! No cracks, flakes or chips. The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel has a perfect fit and virtually all of its red enamel. a lovey SA Dagger in VG++++ Condition
