An Extremely rare British No.5 Experimental Bayonet

An Extremely rare British No.5 Experimental Bayonet, the Bayonet is in overall excellent condition, the bayonet is marked ROF. RD. 5, we have done some research on this with the help of Ian Skennerton and thought originally this could be related to the Sterling, however, the Pommel is for the No.5 as there are no clearance holes in the sterlings pommel, the grip is also interesting as one of the screw heads is, The previous owner, originally had two of these bayonets, however, after a conversation with the late Herb Woodend at Enfield Collection, one of them was donated to the collection as they did not have an example.
