WW2 Indian Army War Medal

An India Service Medal 1939-1945, constructed in nickel complete with original ribbon.  The obverse of this medal depicts King George VI bust and the inscription; ‘GEORGIVS VI D: G: BR: OMN: REX ET INDIAE IMP:’ (George VI by the grace of God King of Great Britain and Emperor of India).  The reverse depicts a relief of the Indian map and the inscription; ‘INDIA’ and the dates; ‘1939-45’.  Excellent condition
